CCAT Exam Frequency

CDAC conducts the CCAT exam twice every year:

  1. February Batch — Exam held in January
  2. August Batch — Exam held in July

This gives students two opportunities every year. If you miss one attempt, you only need to wait about 6 months for the next one.

CDAC follows a consistent schedule, making it easy to predict approximate dates:

  • February batch exams are always conducted in January
  • August batch exams are always conducted in July
  • Applications open 2-3 months before the exam
  • Results are typically announced within 2-3 weeks of the exam

When Should You Start Preparing?

For the expected January 2027 exam, October is the ideal starting point. That gives you about three months: two for covering Section A and Section B (and Section C if your course needs it) and one for revision and full-length mock tests.
