Use the programme's exact eligibility row
The verified booklet uses Post Graduate Certificate Programmes (PGCP). Eligibility is programme-specific. Its common routes include specified Engineering/Technology degrees in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Instrumentation, or the specified MSc/MS routes in Computer Science, IT or Electronics. The duration/qualification structures in the booklet also matter.
Table 1 adds accepted qualifications separately for particular programmes. Meeting an entrance-test score does not replace qualification and document checks. Do not treat this summary as an individual eligibility ruling.
Minimum marks — correcting the old 50% / 45% claim
For August 2026, Table 1 specifies 55% for eleven programmes and 60% for PGCP-AI. The earlier blanket 50% general / 45% SC/ST claim is not supported by the checked booklet and has been removed. Do not infer a category relaxation without an applicable official rule.
The percentage is considered under the graduating university's norms. Use the university's documented conversion method for CGPA; do not apply a generic 9.5 multiplier.

A BCA or three-year BSc alone is not listed as a blanket entry route in the checked table. Do not assume eligibility from a broad branch label. For unlisted or ambiguous degrees, seek written clarification from C-DAC ACTS support before paying.
Age and results-awaiting applicants
The August 2026 booklet states no age restriction for admission. Its provisional-admission rule for candidates who appeared in the 2026 qualifying examination required all examination parts to be completed by joining and proof of passing with the required marks by 31 December 2026. This is a past intake's condition, not a deadline for a future batch.
Document-checking checklist — editorial advice
- Compare the exact degree name, discipline, duration and marks with the intended programme row.
- Keep official marksheets, degree/provisional documents and the university's conversion rule available.
- Use the current application instructions for upload formats and the allocated centre's verification checklist.
- Ask for clarification on unlisted qualifications, distance/open modes or incomplete results rather than assuming acceptance.
